The End of the World Records

I (John Benson) am Swami, one of three co-founders of The End of the World Records. I designed and maintain the website (this one) for the label. Aside from that, I also am involved with maintaining records of the label's releases, and overseeing Internet sales. I have a working knowledge of Adobe PhotoShop, various scanning software, and other programs related to the visual aspect of our records.

I will be recording my debut album for the label sometime in 2007. My sole release on The End of the World Records is a 6-second teaser for an IDM album entitled Psilence that I had planned for the summer of 2005, but the project was later cancelled. Prior to the birth of the label, I had released one full-length compilation entitled In Retrospect in 2004 which showcased the various musical projects and styles I was involved in between 1996 - 2003.
